What Causes Lump In The Back Left Side Of Throat?
not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
The tonsil is composed of lymphoid mass. At the lower border of the tonsil the lymphoid mass continues to the tongue to form the lingual tonsils. Basically the tonsils and the lingual tonsils are continuous with each other.
What you have seen is this lymphoid mass.
The size of the lymphoid mass in the throat can wary in size and shape. Even the lymphoid tissue can be of unequal size on either side. So you have nothing to worry about.
Since you have already undergone a scopy, your doctor would have ruled out cancer, so do not worry about it.
The feeling of globus increases if you pay attention to your symptoms. Stop worrying about it and you will feel better.

can get it removed
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
Sorry for the delay.
The enlarged lymphpoid follicle can be removed if it bothers you so much. This way you can even get a tissue diagnosis, which will help you get rid of the fear of cancer.
About the follicle going away completely.... cannot say for sure. It may reduce in size or go away completely.
