Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
There can be various causes for a lump in the breast.
First is mild hormonal imbalance, when some part of the breast tissue overgrows to form a lump.
Second can be a cyst due to fluid collection or blood collection.
Infection can cause an abscess and infective lump.
Malignancy or cancer is a rare cause.

Brief Answer:
NEEDS ASSESSMENT.

Detailed Answer:
THe cause cannot be determined without examining you.
A SPecialist has to examine the lump physically.
Then a mammogram and ultrasound would be done, also a biopsy if required, to know the exact nature of the lump.
Most benign lumps can be surgically removed.
Take care.
