What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain While Urinating?

default
Posted on Mon, 10 Jul 2017
Question: Thank you! I have been experiencing pain in my lower stomach while urinating and relieving myself otherwise. My recent papsmier came back normal! It even hurts when sitting down! I have tried AZO thinking that I might have a urinary tract infection, which did not help either! I am currently on antibiotics due to a dental procedure and they don't make a difference either! Any suggestions ?

Brief Answer:
Urine infection possible diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The symptoms you have described are suggestive of urinary tract infection.
You should get a urine culture and sensitivity test done to confirm the infection and the bacteria causing it.
Further antibiotics should be taken accordingly.
In the meantime, you can take syrup containing alkaliser for relieving the symptoms. Also drink 3-4 litres of fluid in a day.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
