Follow-up: What causes lower abdominal pain while passing gas? 12 hours later
Duration 2months. no alcohol consumption. Started with sensation lower left abdomen. not painful but present (not while lying down or asleep)Bowel movements were daily and normal but have changed lately.before the feeling of having to go came rather demanding, how the felling just hovers until I go which is a bit strained. My last DR diagnosed it a cyst (the slight bump near the area of discomfort. My present Dr says its a muscle rip/tear.no fever nausea or weight loss.

Brief Answer:
seems more of fissure or hemorrhoid issue .

Detailed Answer:
Welcome dear

Thanks for the details .

* This seems more of anal fissure or hemorrhoid issue , the primary evaluation
of which require procto anoscopy examination by the consultant surgeon
rather than colonoscopy .

Would like further details as

1. Feeling of burning discomfort after passing stools .
2. Any tissue type thing protruding out of anus during or after passing stool .
3. Proctoscopy examination ( per rectal ) has been done by the surgeon or not .

Hope this will help you .

Wishing you fine health ahead .
Regards .
