I understand your concern

Shingles caused by the virus herpes zoster.
It affect the immune system and cause depression of white blood cell.
Sometime in acute viral infection also cause decrease white blood cell/neutrophil.

There may be chance of infection and post shingles complication.
So if you have any symptoms of infections (fever, headache, weakness) immediately consult the your treating doctor.
