What Causes Low Platelet Count?

Question: Hi I have platelette count of 129 in july
Platelette count went down to 122
My white blood cell count is normal
My Hematocrit is normal
What does this usually mean about the platelettes.is this cancer

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
You have only slightly low platelet count. Even simple viral infection can leads to this. You may have some viral infection. In cancer generally there is very high wbc count. Which you don't have. So don't worry about that. It may be normal variation.

Just be relaxed dear. If you have any symptoms then consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Otherwise no need of medicine. just take care. If you have any sign of bleeding then consult your doctor urgently.
