Brief Answer:
Ferritin and iron need to be correlated with other iron parameters,CHG & PS

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

It is not usual to find a normal iron level and a low ferritin level.
Ferritin is the storage form of iron and its level reduced only when the iron level in serum come down drastically.
Low ferritin level indicates iron deficiency so iron level should be low.
What is the status of other iron parameters - transferrin saturation and TIBC?
Do you take iron supplements?

In addition, a complete hemogram (CHG) with peripheral blood smear (PS) examination should be done.
If you have already got it done, please post the reports of same for assessment.

Thanks
