What Causes Low Energy, Facial Numbness And Pain In The Extremities?

Question: I am doing fine. Energy can still be low especially at evening time. Numbness in face is gradually disappearing. There is still a stiffness around left eye.Numbness in area above left knee still there. Still getting strange sensations all over the body, such as some tingling, itchiness, a sense that something is crawling on your skin etc. Also hands and feet can be painful at times, especially finger tips. This comes and goes.
Is all that just part of the process of healing? It is now eight weeks since this all began.

Hi,
Thanks for being here again on HCM.
So, after reviewing your previous queries, it seems that you are on a better health track now and symptoms seem to be improving.
As per previous discussions, and going per your neurologist's advice, anxiety was likely contributing to this vicious cycle. Maintain a balanced diet, with adequate amount of proteins, vitamins and minerals and adequate hydration on top of all. Further, maintaining a physical exercise schedule will also help.
Hopefully, you will be back to normal in near future.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
