Question: my wife delivered baby boy 5 months ago. only right side breast has more milk production and very less in left side. what is the reason. but baby has sufficient milk.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The baby has to be latched on to both the breasts .
First one breast has to be offered and then the next time the other one.
If both breasts are equally offered and emptied, milk production is always equal.
The reason for more milk production on the right side must be that she would be used to feeding the baby more from the right side.
Please offer both breasts equally, and if the baby is full, then express the remaining milk out from the left side.
Once you use the left breast equally well, the milk production would then equalize.
