What Causes Loss Of Consciousness In A Person With 60mm Hg Of Carbon Dioxide Level?
Question: Corbondoxide detaining up to 60%,my brother is unconscious, Pl. Advice me what the treatment and is it critical to the life. Pl give suggestions for the treatment

Normal level of carbon dioxide in the body is 35-45 mm Hg. 60 is quite high. But a good interpretation can be done if you can provide full arterial blood gas analysis report I.e ABG report.
Moreover it will be easier for me to understand the condition of your brother if you can provide the illness history and relevant investigations done so far.
If he is unconscious then mechanical ventilatory support is needed and condition seems to be critical.

Yesterday morning,he was on ventleator. He was under treatment of mechanical ventleator. Now my brother responded. Corbondoxide level is under control.

Well he will be on ventilator till he becomes hemodynamic stable that is till he becomes fully conscious, maintaining Blood pressure, has normal respiratory rate and maintains a good oxygen saturation above 90% with a oxygen supply of 40% on ventilator, carbon dioxide level comes below 45.
If he maintains all these then they will gradually withdraw the ventilator support. The process is called weaning. It is done by special modes in ventilator itself. Then a trial of spontaneous breathing will be given and the time will be gradually extended . If everything fine,2-3 days will be needed to come off ventilator once stabilised by it. But depends on the disease and patient's response.
