What Causes Loose Stools With Mucus In A Child?
Question: my son is 9 month old, she got loose motions with mucus from last sunday. After eating anything, he is passing stools, He lost Weight also. We are giving nutrolin 2.5 ml twice but its not improved. Please advise.

Please find the report and let me know which medicine to give. He is passing motions after eating or drinking anything. We are giving him Enfamil stage 2 and rice dal mixed with beetroot & carrot.
Nuetrolin 2.5 ml twice.
Please advise which medicine to give and qty also.

The report is suggestive of infective diarrhea. Start Syp. Cefixime ( 10mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses) for next 3 days for complete recovery. Continue neutrolin B, Zinc supplement ( Zinconia or AnD) and ORS. Food being given is good for your child. Do not worry. This will improve. These are prescribed medicines, Ask your doctor to prescribe them.
