What Causes Lightheadedness,sweating And Anxiety?
Question: Sorry for the questions and its hard for me to explain. One week ago severe dizziness went to the emergency room CAT scan of the brain was normal said I had vertigo. Sore ENT specialist said vestibular neuritis. Dizziness gets better each day, today i was fine all day . Its now 530 pm and got a weird senasation lightheaded, sweating and anxious. I happened tonsoeak to doc today and told he inwas feeling better and if he thought this was still vestibular neurtitis ? He said time will tell. I dont know why right now i feel aweful , dizzy , nausea , i cant live like this. Is this what happens ? He said maybe menierens disease . But test was fine. I did ask him to give me a prescription to have some blood work done. But I was feeling totally fine better than ever today and now this feeling. What is going on?

If the dizziness is of gradual onset and progresses or regresses over a long period of time, then a diagnosis of vestibular neuritis can be considered.
Since you complain of sudden onset lightheaded, sweating and anxiousness for now, I suggest you to undergo a Carotid artery doppler as such symptoms can be seen in cerebral insufficiency.
If the carotid artery doppler report comes out normal then I would consider the cause for your symptoms being Anxiety.
