Question: I have once in a while a light pink discharge while wiping my rectal area. I am 70 years old. The mucus like discharge is light orange pinkish

Its good that you do colonoscopy regularly so you follow up the polyps.

My thoughts about the discharge its it may be some local irritation or hemorrhoids. In both cases its very important to keep the area clean, wash it with fresh water, if possible do bath sits with warm water.

During colonoscopy remind your doctors to have a look at the external area. They should see it with details and see if there is anything more serious than what I mentioned above.
