Brief Answer:
You should consult a gynaecologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can certainly understand your concern, though.

There are so many causes for your symptoms like hormonal imbalance (progesterone deficiency), thyroid disorder, PCOD, fibroid, polyp, infection, DUB, stress, sudden weight changes and lifestyle changes.
I would like to know do you have any history of above possibilities?

Sometimes spotting before period can be considered normal and it is suggested that you will resume your period in a few days.

But in your case as you are trying to conceive for last 6 months and you are unsuccessful and you have spotted since 2-3 cycles you should confer with a gynecologist and get yourself examined, pelvic ultrasound and hormonal profile done to rule out possibilities

Follow these advises which may be helpful to you-

You should not take the stress, take a healthy and balanced diet rich in protein and low in carbohydrate, do some yoga and meditation and start folic acid tablet.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Yes, you can consult an infertility specialist.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Nice to hear from you all again.

Folvite is a folic acid tablet used before and after conception because it is helpful in the neurological development of a child.

May be you are suffering from infertility because after trying for 6 months without any medical problem (as you stated so) if you are not conceiving you should consult an infertility specialist for the same.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
