What Causes Light Period Bleeding?

default
Posted on Fri, 25 Jul 2014
Question: Hi doctor. I am 29 year old female trying to get pregnant. I always used to have a regular mensuration cycle with 27 – 29 days duration. This month 1 got my periods (light spot) on 1st july say 27th Day & I didn’t get the flow yet. What could be the reason? Is it something related to PCOD or pregnancy? Confused.

Brief Answer:
Could be either

Detailed Answer:
hi,

it could be either as both can present similarly.

my advice will be to get a pregnancy test done .

if it comes negative then its pcos.

Its better to confirm it than to guess
