Posted on Wed, 2 Nov 2016
Question: having pain on my left side above my hip. no girl parts left so not any of that. before XXXXXXX 2016 I would poop 2 to 3 times a day, and it would be the nice S form or Dino poo (very large stools, sometimes would have to remove it from toilet).
after a 5 day in icu end of XXXXXXX my poo has been constant diarrhea and if there is any chunks it is floating. and I got to go I better run, a few accidents, I go after I eat. and it smells bad or like what I ate.
sorry to be so gross but I can't say these things to my Dr to embarrassed. I miss the regular poo and even the Dino poo.

Brief Answer:
Possible Osmotic diarrhoea?

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam

I can certainly understand your concern.

As per your symptoms, it's important to get a complete stool analysis along with fecal fat estimation.

This indicates osmotic diarrhoea as the likely cause.

Further management if any is largely based upon stool analysis.

Meanwhile I prescribe oral syrup formulation of Zymex daily post meal.

Please check with your physician if you share my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
