What Causes Jerky Involuntary Movements?

Question: I frequently have involentary jerks. I was told several years ago it was myoclonus but around the first of 2014 i was told it is not myclonus but with whatever it is I am still bothered by it. Never happens when i am sitting or lying duwn..just standing. Been to several doctors and none of them have znswers

You may need to find cause of jerk [internal shakes]; you may need clinical examination and blood investigation.
MRI brain and EEG will help in diagnosis
These symptoms can be due to intake of drugs like metaclopromide, lithium etc, so are you taking any medication?

For diagnosing metabolic disorder blood investigation like thyroid profile, blood sugar level, parathyroid level,sr calcium, vit D.

You may need to consult neurophysician for further guidelines.
