    What causes itchy red and swollen bumps all over the body of a child?

Question: hi ,
i am in XXXXXXX ...and it's summer ...suddenly my 2.5 yrs old kid experiencing itching in affected places and it is red swollen bumps...i don't know what it is ...the bump spreads big in reddish as attached in pic...pls let me know what is it ..so that I can take proper ointment or cream ...

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached images. The rashes and itchiness are likely to be due to an allergic reaction. You may give him some antiallergic like cetirizine or benadryl (or possibly better ones like fexofenadine or loratidine which are prescription medicines) and that should help in reducing the rashes and itchiness. You can apply some emollient like calamine lotion or some moisturizer like aloe vera lotion topically.

It might take a few days to recover and so you need to be patient.
