What Causes Itchy Rashes On Body With Muscle Pain?

Question: I develop a rash all of my body yesterday, with extreme itching and went to er and was treated with Benadryl. Allegra and steroid shot. The rash went but started to come back which I took more Benadryl and Allegra. This morning I have body and joint aches all over. What is going on

Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern.
As per details, it seems that you are suffering from a condition called urticaria. It is characterised by red colored itchy transient eruptions over body. It can be caused by allergy to recent infection, any food, seasonal change, drugs, pollen grains etc. If duration of the disease is less than 6 weeks, it is known as Acute urticaria. The most likely cause for your symptoms is recet infection that may present as sore throat, fever, abdominal pain, burning micturition or headache. I will advise you to get your thyroid profile, Absolute Eosinophil count, IgE levels done, complete blood count, urine routine and microscopy done.
In such cases, I prefer to advise a combination of levocetrizine and montelukast to my patients. You should visit your doctor and discuss this. He would order tests for you.
