Question: My wife has suddenly felt itchy palms and bottom of feet. She breathes fine but also voice is now restricted....can't talk above a whisper

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

Looking at the symptoms,you wife might be suffering from an Allergic reaction leading to itching in hands and soles,and change in voice due to swelling in the voice box.It might have occurred due to Allergic reaction to any medicine or food item.

She might get relief by taking
Antihistaminic like Cetrizine.

It would be advisable to consult an Emergency physician.As if the swelling in the voice box increases,it may lead to difficulty in breathing.If needed,steroid injection might be needed.
