Brief Answer:
inflammed stomach

Detailed Answer:
Hi there. If you have a history of gastritis, you may occasionally feel upper abdominal discomfort, tingling, bloating, burning, heartburn, etc. I see that you take probiotics, which is good, and helps substantially. You should be on an anti-acid as well (such a omeprazole, ranitidine, etc). This anti-acids are good for the gastritis, and will help with any discomfort or abnormal sensation from the stomach.
If your symptoms don't improve you may need further testing. Other testing that can be done include blood work (to check for gluten sensitivity, your pancreas, your thyroid), imaging studies to make sure your liver, gallbladder, pancreas are ok. Sometimes a repeat endoscopy is necessary. Testing for a bacteria called helicobacter pylori is also helpful.
Hope that helps. let me know if you have further questions or concerns

Thank you for your follow up. I had the helicobacter pylori test one year ago, it was negative. I had a full blood work up done 6 months ago, liver functions etc all normal. Had an ultrasound 2 years ago of liver, gall bladder and pancreas all normal. Do you think it's possible for something more serious to have developed in those time frames?
What causes the tingling/itchy feeling?

Brief Answer:
unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is unlikely that something serious developed, however it can't never completely be excluded unless you are re-checked. I would start by taking an anti-acid and if symptoms don't improve then possibly re-test in a stepwise fashion for other possible issues as mentioned initially.

The tingly/itchy feeling could be related to increased acid in your stomach / intestines, intestinal spasms or motility problems of the stomach intestines. Again my first step is anti-acids, continue probiotics.

Regards,
