Question: My small girl 4yrs was injured from two weeks with scratches in her upper legs and she was ok and was healed completly
Then from 3days the wound was infected as per the attatched pictures. It itching her and the place keep growing r

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). i have gone through your query and i have reviewed the images.

I would keep a possibility of either insect bite hypersensitivity Or poison ivy contact dermatitis.

I suggest you to apply a topical steroid+antibiotic cream combination for her e.g fucibet cream, twice daily.
You may also give her a syp of cetrizine 5mg/5ml, 1 tsf, twice daily.
