What Causes Itching And Irritation On Butt Area?

Question: For the past couple days, I've been having itching/irritation in the crack of my butt. A pharmacist recommended Preperation H and it hasn't worked. So I'm wondering what to use that will make the itching go away?

Brief Answer: Goldbond medicated Powder and Hydrocortisone Detailed Answer: Hi there, it seems like the same yeast and bacterial infections that have been bothering you before may be affecting the skin near the gluteal cleft (fancy term for butt crack). I'd like you to try some powder like gold bond medicated powder during the day and then apply some OTC hydrocortisone cream to the area over night for the next few days. Thank you for replying. I'll be picking up some hydrocortisone cream, but I tried the goldbond and it made it worse and caused it to start burning. Should I try dermoplast?

Brief Answer: dermoplast not a good idea Detailed Answer: Dermoplast is going to lock in moisture in the area. Overall it will get worse. Best thing you can do is try the hydrocort. Vin
