Brief Answer:
PCOS related menstrual pattern

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and What I understood is that you are worried about irregular cycles as well as change in pattern of bleeding varying between spotting to red and also about pregnancy.

Following is my reply:

1. This type of irregular bleeding is seen commonly in women with PCOS.

2. There is no possibility of pregnancy.

3. This happens due to hormonal variation associated with PCOS and therefore irregular shedding of endometrium.

4. Fortunately the delay in cycle ( as I can see from your history ) is not much and about 15 to 20 days delay at the maximum.

5. I am happy to see you are using ovulation prediction to detect positive ovulation. You can continue doing the same as ovulation varies in women with PCOS and delayed ovulation is common.

6. Hence let me reassure you that menstrual bleeding varying from spotting to light red and thick pattern is common and nothing wrong with your body.

I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya
