Brief Answer:
Weight reduction is important in pcod

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion your symptoms might be due to PCOD or hypothyroidism.
So I need to know further information to analyse your case in a better way.
So I need to know the following:-
1)Your height and weight?
2)Latest thyroid report?
3)Any exercise done daily and if so for how much time ?
I totally agree with your doctor in starting metformin. It helps in weight reduction and insulin resistance which is a big problem in PCOD .
Kindly let me know the information.
Looking forward to hear from you.

Brief Answer:
Your thyroid report is Notmal

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear
good day
thanks for giving necessary information
this info will help me in analyzing your case in a better way.
i am very happy to say that your thyroid report is normal and kindly continue same dose of thyroxin.
next coming to controlling of pcod it's very important to maintain proper weight to height ratio.
I suggest you to consider reducing minimum 10% from your present body weight
daily go for 60 minutes of exercise
it can be walking or jogging
cut down carbohydrates to less than 50%
prefer taking complex carbohydrates than refined carbohydrates.
taking food in time is also very important.
once your weight is reducing your menstural cycle will regularise and for this Metformin also will help you a lot.
I suggest you to consider meeting a nutritional expert for proper diet plan.
Hope I am able to satisfy your query
