Brief Answer:
FOLLOW THE ADVICE.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

At this age (52 yrs), irregular heavy bleeding may be due to hormonal imbalance or underlying pelvic pathology (like fibroid, polyp, cervical growth etc).

Here, I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan, Serum TSH, FSH and Pap smear test for complete evaluation. It will help to confirm diagnosis.

In the mean time, you should continue above prescribed medicine (CYCLOREG) for another 15 days. It will help to reduce or arrest bleeding.

Side effects are well tolerated like nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramp, breast tenderness, irregular spotting, headache etc. Maintain genital hygiene properly.

Hope, I have answered your query. If you don't have any other query, you can close the discussion.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.
