Brief Answer:
Points towards diagnosis of lateral epicondylitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
It is bad to hear that you have this difficulty. Based on the information it appears to be tendinitis or bursitis of elbow, or can be lateral epicondylitis.

In lateral epicondylitis, initially there will be dull aching pain, later pain with any movement, even during everyday activities, such as lifting a jug of milk. Pain may spread to the hand, wrist, other parts of the arm, shoulder, or neck.

Treatment is most often successful. the most important part of treatment is tendon rest, a long rest from aggravating activity will be very helpful.

I would have suggested you to use ice or cold packs for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, several times a day. Would have prescribed ibuprofen 800 mg tid for 4 to 5 days.

If it persists after these i would suggest to see orthopedic surgeon for evaluation. But do remember that it is definitely a treatable condition.

Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
