Brief Answer:
secondary caries , Periodontal pocket , Medication .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Thanks for consulting Healthcare magic .
This is Dr. Priyanka Tiwari answering your query .

Read your query and understand your concern . As you have shooting nerve pain on left side on lower molar this might be due to some possibilities -
-Secondary caries (infection) in the filled tooth .
- Food retention (periodontal pocket) because of overhanging restoration .
- Periapical infection in concerned tooth region .
- Possibility of wisdom tooth eruption or Impacted wisdom tooth .

For this not to be worried so much but you should consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and investigation like intra oral periapical radiogragh of concerned tooth region to rule out cause of pain . Inmeantime you can do XXXXXXX warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day . Maintain good oral hygiene and avoid horizontal vigrous brushing . For pain you can take medication like Zerodol sp or Ketrol dt (if you are not allergic ) .

Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help.
