What Causes Intermittent Headache While On Xalatan?

Question: Male 41 .
I have being gettinf headache for the past 3 years as an on and off situation . The headache is around and behind the eye . More as a pulsive shooting pain . Im curruntly on Xalatan eyedrops . Is this pain related to it ? Or what do you suggest . Thanks

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.

There could be many reasons for this type of pain, raised IOP(intra ocular pressure) being one of them.

More commonly you have to check if you are taking care of yourself. If you don't eat well or are not getting proper rest then such pains are more likely to occur.

I am presuming that you don't have recurrent sore throat, as such sharp pains may be in sinusitis as well.

Since it is a long standing problem, we in our practice suggest these supportive measures before taking pain killers.
