Question: Hi, Can please someone help me with my problem? I have been taking spirnolactone for hairsutism ad I have pcos. So it is normal to have mid cycles. but this time my mid cycle went crazy and had very heavy bleeding. after first 5 days of bleeding I decided to use XXXXXXX to control it. it became better but it is now 5 days I have brown discharge and looks like It's not going to stop. I also have a little pain on right side of lower abdomen. Is it something I should be worried? I had semi-unprotected sex a day before my mid cycle.

Brief Answer:
Not worrisome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mid cycle spotting and heavy bleeding that you had is likely to be due to a hormonal disturbance. This is not worrisome. This is not related to the unprotected sex that you had.
You can continue taking XXXXXXX The brownish spotting will also stop in next few days.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
