I appreciate your concern for the bleeding between the periods (Intermenstrual) and at the time of having sex (post coital bleeding).

Intermenstrual and the post coital bleeding can be a sign of serious underlying serious pathology involving the cervix (polyps, ectropion or cancer), uterus (fibroid, polyps or cancer) or the pelvic organs (endometriosis).

Such bleeding can also occur in women who take hormonal replacement therapy or drugs like Tamoxifen or blood thinners.
