Question: My daughter's ankles and feet are swollen , but not on her legs. Can you please tell me what might be wrong. She has autism and won''t go to the doctor. She is scared of doctors. She is not sick or aciting like she is hurting anywhere else. Where I live no doctor will treat her because she won't go in the office or hospital. I don't know what to do to help her. Thanks.

There is possibility of polyarthritis leading to inflammation and swelling.
you can send her blood investigation like CBC, ESR, CRP.RA TEST, ACCP. You can send blood samples from home also if service is available.
Another possibility of swelling due to systemic cause like renal or cardiac dysfunction.
blood test will rule out renal cause.
For cardiac involvement clinical examination is important.
