Brief Answer:
3-4 weeks to one month.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing once again to me and believing me.

Congratulation!

I can understand your concern here.

As your infant is having yellow skin above her umbilicus the level of bilirubin is not harmful to her.

Normally the level of bilirubin becomes normal (less than 2mg/dl) in 2-3 weeks times, but sometimes yellow skin becomes normal in one month time.

In exclusive breastfed baby it may take more than a month also but because the levels are low there is no need to worry.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Give her hepatitis-B vaccine now and vitamin -d drops.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Nice to hear from you once again

You are welcome here always.

You should vaccinate your little one with hepatitis-B vaccine now and at the age of 1 month and 6 months (0, 1 and 6).

Just inquire your doctor for the same.

As your infant is on exclusive breastfeeding, she requires vitamin-D drops because it is low in breast milk and it is a vital vitamin for baby growth.

Multivitamin drops supplementation as such not require in healthy newborn. But this medication is safe you can give.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.
