Brief Answer: Urinary tract infection. Urinalysis, USG Abdomen & Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. I suspect you are suffering from urinary tract infection. Our Urine is at the same temperature as your body temperature. Thus feeling of hot sensation while passing urine may be due to Urinary tract infection. Our urinary tract is made up of the urethra, bladder, ureters, and kidneys. You may have infection any where in the urinary tract. Kidney stones also cause difficulty in urination and burning sensation. Please do the following investigations. 1. Urine routine and Urinalysis 2. Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. Urine test will be helpful in confirming whether you have any infection or not. Ultrasound abdomen can rule out any kidney stones. If the infection is suspected, Antibiotics will be prescribed by your treating physician. Please follow these measures to reduce the burning sensation. 1. Drink plenty of water 2. Avoid irritants such as alcohol caffeine, spicy foods, citrus fruits and juices, tomato products and artificial sweeteners 3. Avoid highly acidic foods 3. Take some pain killers like Acetaminophen now for pain and burning sensation. Hope this helps. Please write back for further queries. Wishing you good health.
