What Causes Hormonal Imbalance While Confronting Menopause?
Question: My girlfriend is going through Perimenopause and had blood work done and come to find that she has low hormone levels and has a great fear of getting examed by a obgyn. What can you suggest
Brief Answer:
No need to get examined if no complains
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The hormonal levels are deranged in the perimenopausal period and it is nothing to worry about.
You can upload the reports, if possible for review.
There is no need to get examined by an OBGYN if she has no menstrual or abdominal complaints.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you Dr. XXXXXXX for replying and there are a few other questions. One being, what reports are you suggesting to be uploaded and secondly I should have included in my question that she started Perimenopause at the beginning of this year and that's when she displayed no interest in intimacy and says she wants to but the desire just isn't there. So knowing she has a great fear to see the OBGYN and will NOT get exames, what can she take/do to reverse this
Brief Answer:
Reports of blood work
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have requested you to upload the reports of the blood work done.
If the hormonal levels are very low, then the hormonal supplementation may be required to normalise the sexual desire in patient.
