Brief Answer:
seems to be laryngitis

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having hoarse voice.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be laryngitis secondary to cough or acid reflux.

Laryngitis (voice box inflammation) always occurs due to severe cough or sore throat (pharyngitis) or reflux esophgitis (burning chest pain).

I suggest the following measures, to overcome your hoarse voice.

1. Take anti allergic medication like tab. levocet+ d (citrizine +phynylehrine) one at bed time.

2. start ppi inhibitors with prokinetics (pantoprazole + domepridone) pan-d twice daily before food (half an hour before).

3. cap.amoxcillin 500 mg thrice daily (medical prescription needed).

4. stop smoking or alcohol (if you are with these habits).

5. steam inhalation twice daily.

6. absolute voice rest.

In case of persistence, needs to be evaluated with ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
needs ct scan of para nasal sinuses.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

In my opinion, you need to evaluate with Ct scan of para nasal sinuses to know the severity of sinusitis. In case of chronic sinusitis, oral medications will not help.

Kindly go ahead.

All the best. Take care.
