Post your complete query...

Hi,

Your query seems ambiguous. Please post your complete account of problem and specify your concerns.
Do you mean someone is running high fever with chills? If so, for how long has the symptoms been? What other symptoms are associated? If a doctor consultation was done? Any lab test done?

Awaiting complete details....

Brief Answer:
Antipyretic drug and tipid sponging...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Besides the medicine (antipyretic drug) the best method to reduce temperature is tipid sponging - wiping entire body with XXXXXXX warm water. Use of fan and the need to cover body depends on personal comfort. However it is advisable to use thin sheet of blanket and not thick one if you are feeling chill.
Drink plenty of fluid is also advisable.

Brief Answer:
Reports indicate typhoid fever

Detailed Answer:
I went through the lone physician report where evaluation test indicate typhoid fever. Platelet count as well as blood pressure value are low. This is common with typhoid fever.

Treatment with antibiotic is appropriate in such case. Antibiotic therapy should continue for couple of weeks.

Further platelet count should be repeated and monitored again every two days until recovery.

Hope this answered your question.
