    What causes high blood pressure in the afternoon?

Question: My blood pressure is in normal range in the morning. Is it normal for it to be higher in the afternoon? It ivaries from 122 to 134. I drink 1 1/2 cups of coffee per day. Sat half cup as late as 3 pm.

These slight fluctuations in blood pressure are quite normal during the day. They are related to the physical activity. Coffee intake plays an important role in blood pressure fluctuations too.
