What Causes High TLC Levels In The Blood?
Question: Sir,
Please refer to my questions asked to Dr.Saha. I visited a doctor yesterday as I had fever and pain in feet. He tested for uric acid and HB,TLC,dlc.all results were normal except TLC. TLC was 12500 more than normal and neutrophil was 75. Is there serious problem with me. Is it due to HIV or any other STD. He asked for urine sample. Fever has gone. Kindly help me why count is high.I had protected sex all the times. Except deep kissing and cunillings(one time only).please suggest why TLC count is so high.is it serious infection. I am taking dabur shilajit gold because of nightfall problem. I will await for the answer. It is scaring me now

Pain and bodyache you have might be due to some other bacterial or viral infection but not related to HIV as there is no risky behaviour in your case. TLC count could be increased in any infection not only HIV so just calm down and don't think too much.

I have tested for hiv antibody test and it came out negative. is this sufficient? my last encounter with prostitute was 21 days ago and it was all protected except deep kissing and cunillings. should I test again? is it required?

I got different answer from Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX He said I require testing after 3 months. I am confused now
