Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The dangers related to high blood pressure are both short term and long term.

It is possible to have very high readings with no short term or immediate damage but in other cases immediate damage can occur.

(1) Hypertensive emergency

This terms refers to conditions where very high blood pressure readings result in immediate damage to target organs. The organs involved are usually the central nervous system (brain or spinal cord), the heart and its blood vessels or the kidneys.

Central nervous system damage can be- damage to vision, headaches, stroke

Heart- heart attack or heart failure

Kidneys- kidney damage which may present with fluid retentions

Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting may occur

(2) In some cases no symptoms of damage may occur and a person may not even be aware that the blood pressure in elevated.
The blood pressure may remain increased and if not treated can cause continued damage to the blood vessels, heart , kidneys and brain

High blood pressure is actually one of the most common reasons for stroke.

It is very important that it is kept in control with medication and lifestyle changes.
