Question: I am experiencing heavy bleeding. it's about 2 weeks after my last period so it's off schedule. and it's thinner than usual. I'm 48. It's somewhat like a faucet.

I understand your concern.You are suffering from Menorrhagia.It can be due to many underlying diseases such as;

Uterine firbroids
Adenomyosis
Ovarian dysfunction.

If I were your doctor ,I would have asked you to go through Complete blood count,Lower abdomen ultrasonography .On the basis of these reports ,i would have considered your treatment plan.For now I would suggest you to see a doctor since you are bleeding a lot and might become anemic.Please eat healthy
