Well, about 3 hours ago I was driving my car and I had a sudden weird pain in my head where suddenly my whole head feels very heavy and numb and my hearing seems to be affected. This has happened to me twice in about a week. The first time it happened I was not driving. So, when I got home I relaxed for a while and finally after about 2 hours the bad heaviness symptoms stopped and then I just had a little bit of numbness between my left corner of my lip and right above the jawline. I was just diagnosed by my doctor as having type 2 diabetes yesterday. Something about having a 6.6 something or other. By the way my hearing seems to be almost back to normal also. Just a bit of pressure at the forehead. Does this sound like anything I should be concerned about?
Brief Answer:
Thee are no immediate red flags to be concerned about!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for this detailed description and comprehensive review. I have reviewed this information fully and there is no red flag at this time. This, for now, fits more of transient symptoms and incidental observations.
What are you on for diabetes? Hopefully diet and exercise would do at this time. I will recommend you follow up with regular fasting blood sugar measurements and another HBA1C control in 3months.
I hope this helps. Keep me posted and more so if these symptoms repeated seem to occur more often or become more severe.
Until next, stay well.
