Brief Answer:

GI viral infection.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I understand your concern.

What you describe sounds like a viral gastro intestinal infection, on the grounds of acid reflux.

I recommend you the following:

1. Lay off apple juice. It does not help with the heartburn.

2. You need to keep taking the protonic pump inhibitor.

3. Also take an over the counter antidiarrheal such as Loperamide or Pepto bismol. Pepto bismol will also help with vomiting.

4. Drink as many fluids as possible to prevent dehydration or, alternatively over the counter oral rehydration fluids.

This should resolve in a few days, however if there is stool blood or change of color please see a doctor for futher examinations and tests.

I hope this helps. Wishing you a fast recovery and all the best.

Regards,
