default
Posted on Fri, 27 Jun 2014
Question: I get migrane kind of headache often. What I noticed was whenever the atmosphere is cloudy and about to rain I get this. The pain starts either in the right side of back of my neck or left or sometimes both sides. It is very painful and sometimes lasts for 2-3 days also. Once when I consulted a doctor he mentioned this as vascular headache.

Brief Answer:
Vascular Headache vs CervicoGenic Headache

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.com

You're problem very well may be due to migraines. In which case, you need to be examined by a Neurologist.

But I would like you to get x-rays of your cervical spine as well. Because from what you have described, i think your pain may be originating from your neck. To begin the workup for this, you need to get x-rays and very possibly an MRI. But i would suggest you get the x-rays first. Once they are done, upload them here and I will go over them with you.
