Brief Answer:
Possibly disconnected symptoms. Solid Physical Exam is Advised

Detailed Answer:
Good afternoon.

Thanks for your question and list of symptoms. What you've listed are not all necessarily tied together in any obvious way that I can see right off the bat and the history you present is not detailed enough for me to know whether there's a chance they could be linked....

The fact you mention alcohol makes me wonder if perhaps, Alcohol itself could be the cause of some of the symptoms....I don't know exactly what you mean when you say that it affects you "more than it used to."

Dizziness could be anything from LIGHTHEADEDNESS to XXXXXXX VERTIGO or spinning sensations. In the former case usually medications or chronic medical conditions are often to blame...in the latter, more serious things such as blood supply to the brain may be at stake....again, we need a bit more history and of course, a physical exam would be even more tell tale.

Headaches that you mention also are not specified as to intensity, frequency, or accompanying symptoms. In most cases when patients even MENTION headaches in the context of other medical problems it turns out that they're actually referring to MIGRAINE HEADACHES....but those are defined by certain parameters of duration and other accompanying things such as nausea, vomiting, photo and/or phonophobia. You 'd have to give more info. in order to begin the categorization process.

Vision getting worse at the age of 61 is not surprising just on the basis of aging....Mine's been terrible ever since I was in the 3rd grade...And it ain't gettin' any better either!....But whether or not you have a SERIOUS PATHOLOGY that needs immediate attention I don't know unless you say what exactly what about your vision is getting worse and over what time period and in association with other factors or situations it seems to have declined? You could have simple presbyopia, macular degeneration, or you could have cataracts....need more information.

In the absence of more detail....and frankly, even if I had more detail....it SOUNDS LIKE you could be due for a GOOD SOLID Medical checkup and that you could use some good laboratory testing to see what's up with your thyroid gland, your adrenal glands, your vitamins B12 and D, Blood count results, hepatic and renal screening for their function, as well as a check of your current medications to see if there could be any contributing factors that are missing from your story,

If I've adequately answered your questions could you do me a huge favor by CLOSING THE QUERY and being sure to include some fine words of feedback along with a 5 STAR rating if you feel my suggestions have helped? Again, many thanks for posing your questions and please let me know how things turn out.
