What Causes Headache?

default
Posted on Mon, 21 Apr 2014
Question: I have had a headache for almost 4 weeks. Seemed like a sinus issue at first but headache has moved to back of head, sometimes top. Weather has been changing day to day here---extreme cold to moderate warmth. Is it most likely a sinus problem. I have no congestion.

Brief Answer: , Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic! It does not seem to be a sinus issue. Sinus problem usually presents as tenderness on the facial region and also congestion (mostly). However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes that needs to be ruled out. Lot of things like tension headache, refractory errors, increased blood pressure, migraine and many more need to be concerned as many present similarly. Hope I have answered your query.
