Brief Answer:
Do not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through your question. The most likely reason for your daughter's illness seems to be respiratory tract infection. Self limiting viral infections are most likely cause and usually start improving in 3-5 days. It needs just symptomatic treatment. You may continue with Febrex syrup. It is fine but the dose looks inadequate as per her age. Kindly mention your daughter's current weight so that I may suggest you the proper dose.

Brief Answer:
Increase the dose

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your information. I would suggest Syp. Febrex (250mg) 7.5 ml/dose. Repeat the dose after 6-8 hours if fever persists or recurs.

If there is no improvement in frequency of fever spikes after 72 hours of illness or there is onset of any other symptoms, then visit a pediatrician for complete clinical evaluation.

Ensure proper diet and plenty of water consumption.

Take care

Brief Answer:
This is correct line of treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Febrex has paracetamol which is actually correct line of treatment in such symptoms. You may give Syp. Meftal P in case the fever doesn't respond to Febrex or paracetamol. Use antihistamines such as Syp. Maxtra if the cough and cold is severe.
