What Causes Hard Bump After An Injury To Eyebrow Bone?

Question: Hi,

My toddler who will be 3 in September, hit his eyebrow bone very hard on the corner of our coffee table last month. He cried for a minute and it left a small bump initially but nothing major. The next day ot just looked like a tiny cut. We didnt notice anything for another week or so, but then about 2 weeks ago, realized there was still a slightly reddish, hard spot where the injury occured. Also, the eyebrow hair around that area has fallen out. The hard bump is about half the size of a pea and it doesnt bother him when I touch. Its moveable with the eyebrow. Im still very concerned about this. The bump isnt hot or swollen, just rubbery hard and no eyebrow hair in the area. Do you have any idea what this could be and if it will go away? I would hate for him to lose a pea sized amount of eyebrow hair for life.
