Question: Dear sir ,
Today first time i have read several answers on your portal and i am glad to know that some body is really helping human beings it is really very good for all of thanks to you all team for this .Sir my question is this that from last 1.5 years i am loosing my hairs continuously i am 22 years old in beginning my hairs were firstly gonna white and then they are falling from 200 to 300 per day i am very worried about it i have discussed all this things to doctor they have suggested me to have addgain capsules every day i have taken it but there is no effect and my hairs are missed in some areas there are many of gapes are there i have also tried some Ayurveda oil like kesh king and etc but there is know effect sir please help me i am not able to do anything in stress of this problem one thing more sir in my daily routine masturbating is going on and iam not able to stop it . i am wearing helmet in long time on my bike is these are the reasons for my loosing here sir please help me i think my hairs which are breaking are not coming back and my hairs are also breaking from the roots.

Hi XXXX, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. I have gone over your information in detail and I want to address a couple of issues before i answer about the hair loss.

1) Masturbation has nothing to do with your hair loss and it is a natural phenomenon, do not worry.

2)A helmet would not contribute to the hairloss unless the padding in the helmet is treated with a chemical that would do that. A good quality helmet would not have such issues.

3) I am not familiar with 'addgain' and cannot find info about it online, can you please tell me it's active ingredient(s).

Now to the issue of hairloss.

Hair loss and hair thinning in your age group are normally due to 2 things

1) Poor nutrition / Vitamin deficiencies
2) Stress.. mental and physical

You need to look into these two issues to see what is going on. We have good nutritionists here that can help you with a diet plan.

If the stress is the problem. We need to look into meditation and yoga they help the most in younger patients.

Now, from a more medical perspective, if you hair is falling out in patches or your scalp is very itchy.. then you might have an infection or other skin issue causing the hairfall..

Sir addgain capsules are suggested to me by a P.G.I Doctor and i have taken it regularly
sir please suggest me know what have to i have to do to save my hairs from falling
please suggest me oils or medicine shampoo or other things to save my hairs i am really worry about this and sir the helmet i am using its of STUDS and there is no stress on me i am a engineering student . a very chilled boy but these days i am even not going out side of my house because of i have loosing my hairs Sir please help me .I am also loosing hairs of my eye brows also even on my chest and legs.Sir please answer my question yes my hairs are falling out from patches yes it is itchy but not many then what to do

Oils and Shampoo's are not the answer

Hi XXXX Thanks for following up,

I understand that you are anxious about the hairloss, don't worry my friend. Remember, hair itself is a dead thing, it's the hair follicle that we must take care of. Shampoo's and oils are only cosmetic and is not the answer to your issue.

Why not try and nourish the hair properly with a good diet. I am sure it will help you over the next few weeks.

For the betterment of diet kindly follow the suggestions below:

1. Eat at least 3-4 different fruits saplings per day. Every fruit is good but you can make a combination of sour with sweet fruits such as oranges, papaya and other of seasonal fruits.

2. Pulses are good source of proteins. So everyday have a small bowel full of mixed pulses. Add green leafy vegetables additionally in the pulses which contains lot of iron and vitamins in it.

3. Sprouts are the best source of fibers, minerals especially iron, vitamins and proteins too. so add it at-least alternate day if you can not make in every-day's part of meal.

4. Over night soaked and peeled almonds will give you good vitamin E which is good for the hair growth.

5. Milk and milk products should be included in every-day's schedule.

6.Do light exercises, reduce your work stress as all these have bit impact on skin so also on scalp skin.

Try these things out for a few weeks and watch how your hair responds, i'm sure you will look and feel much better.

Thanks sir for responding me i am very thankful to you that you are helping me sir i want to discuss some thing also that in my scalp there is itchy and some types of soil is on the scalp every where did i have to remove my all hairs and start the treatment as you have discussed how can i take decision that i have to remove my hairs or not . any medicine which help me to increase my vitamins which has been finished in my body .

Hi XXXX By the sound of it you may be suffering from dandruff. There is nothing to worry about. Try using an antidandruff shampoo like Nizoral for about 3 weeks and you should see an improvement.

Do not worry about the brand, if not Nizoral, ANY shampoo with ketoconazole or itraconazole will be fine. Those are the important active ingredients.
