Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic!

Thanks for consulting at HCM virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your query, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.

1.First of all do not panic.

2.I usually suggest to my patients to get a gynec check up done, that includes per speculum and per vaginal examination.

This will help to get clinical diagnosis of the discharge and will also help to take swab for microscopic examination and culture sensitivity if needed.

3.Usually a course of
Antifungal agent- generic name- FLUCONAZOLE
Antibacterial agent- generic name- CIPROFLOXACIN. TINIDAZOLE or METRONIDAZOLE ,
Along with vaginal suppository containing antifungal, antibacterial ;
will be of help.
You can seek guidance of your treating doctor for the prescription and doses of the same.

4. Use of Lactic acid containing vaginal wash daily during bath will be of help. It is usually available over the counter.
Please keep private parts dry and clean.
If you are sexually active, please opt for use of condom to prevent cross infection or reinfection.

I hope this answer was helpful to you! Please let me know if there's any further queries.
Afterwards please rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot.

Thank you and Best regards!

I used the bathroom and I do apologize if this is TMI. The discharge is not thick but milky and it looked yellowish greenish (?) I have no foul odor, pain, nor irritation. What could this possibly be? It was not like this before I took the Rephresh gel applicators. However, I did have white cottage cheese discharge and treated for a yeast infection. I will be going to a clinic as soon as possible.
